Norcold Refrigerator Recall Information

Norcold currently has two seperate recalls:  Recall #1: Models: Cooling Unit Serial numbers: N641/21 1038000-1099000 N842/21 1038000-1099000 N1082N 1038000-1099000 1200LR 70000-1008700 Due to a potential safety defect, Norcold has voluntarily recalled the gas/electric refrigerator models built from 1996 through 1999 to the left. If your refrigerator model is listed to the left and the Cooling unit serial number falls in between the listed serial numbers, Your refrigerator requires immediate service. Refrigerator cooling unit serial numbers can be found through the refrigerator vent door located on the outside of the RV directly behind the refrigerator. The serial decal will be attached to the solution chamber, which is located approximately in the center of the vent door area. Continued operation using AC electric power of a refrigerator under this recall could result in a fire! Open the outside access panel and unplug the electric cord from the refrigerator. Contact a Dealer / Service center to arrange a service date soon. Your refrigerators cooling unit will be replaced at no charge. If your refrigerator model is listed to the left and the serial number falls in between the listed serial numbers, Your refrigerator requires immediate service. Refrigerator model and serial numbers can be found right inside of the refrigerator cabinet. Continued operation using propane gan of a refrigerator under this recall could result in a fire!
